I learned something new on my last trip about hot sauce. There is an underground hot sauce scene with celebrity and signature pieces of art. Some of the hot sauces in this case sell for hundreds of dollars, If I remember correctly up to $800 dollars. They are enclosed in a specialty bottle, vamped up with high end packaging, and sealed with colored wax like a bottle of Makers Mark. George highlights these items in this case.
What I liked most of all about this display was that it was a focal point in the center of the store. Beyond that, it gave everyone who entered and noticed it a conversation piece to share with friends all around town. George spent some time sharing the story with me about these collectibles.
