Step or more likely Squeeeeeze In to this famous landmark in Truckee, CA and you'll likely be surrounded with a decade or interesting artifacts lining the walls, and signatures of guests in sharpee marker lining the walls so fully that you would think it was wall paper. Known for fresh squeezed juices and the world's best omelette I was pleasantly surprised at this tasty local hangout. Most interesting was a list of famous house-made sauces to top their monumental list of egg and breakfast offerings. This post is to remind us all that food merchandising and restaurant design doesn't always have to be clean and crisp...sometimes people are just looking for that totally crammed, "not an empty space on the wall", eclectic little unique dining place that you might have walk past if you blinked. I was particularly fond of the plating flare. This curved orange slice was the top to an exceptionally colorful plate, as seem below. The colorful fresh fruit and garnish was something so rarely seen these days. As you can see this stuffed omelette was perfectly placed and prepared!
Zeytinia Gourmet Market was among the top quality retail food displays we've seen all year. This Northeast based specialty food retailer in NYC and Atlantic City excelled in creating compelling displays. The store was a mix of shelving, unique fixtures, and baskets, and fresh refrigerated prepared food offerings. The market had excellent use of spontaneous purchase space near the registers. Consider a trip if you're in town looking to play some cards or visiting a local restaurant. Let's put it this way, if anyone at the Tropicana won big and wanted to celebrate an impromptu celebratory indulgence, Zeytinia was the place to go. Zeytinia has a symbiotic environment, lighting, and fixturing, to complement exceptionally experienced product placement.
Order their products online or see more photos at: www.Zeytinia.com Surrounding Lake Tahoe at Northstar there are many wonderful shops and restaurants. Clearly impacting and enticing the eye of the customer from afar this ice creamery stood out in our visual food merchandising review of the area. Using unique large visuals can draw crowds and get taste buds wanting more! Consider how you can use a prop to your advantage as well to sell more food. So you might be thinking, if it works so well why isn't anyone there...let me reassure you that it was well before lunch time.
